2025 BOXING QUEENSLAND OPEN INTERNATIONAL GOLDEN GLOVES.

Boxing Qld are introducing the prestegious (inaugural) international Golden Gloves event.

• All Qld boxers must be registered with Boxing Qld through a fully affiliated club. 
• All interstate Boxers must be registered with their Governing MA and must be cleared by their state secretary before competition. No clearance, no competition.
• International Boxers must be registered with their (WB) National Federation and must gain a clearance through ther national board/committee and Boxing Australia.
  • Boxing Qld is affiliated with 'World Boxing' 
• There is a non refundable nomination fee of $40 payable at time of nomination.
• All Junior age (u17's) and older athletes to have a current serology test for HEP B|C & HIV.
• Experience categories will be as follows
  • D 0-1 bouts, C 2-5 bouts, B 6 -12 bouts, A 13-20 bouts. OPEN 21+ bouts. (sparring and exhibition bouts do not count)

Coaches please ensure you are aware of all your boxers nominations.

All match ups will be done as per age, weight and exp categories. If your boxer is matched as per these 3 criteria you will not be contacted for confirmation.

If your boxer is not matched as per the 3 criteria, then special bouts will be matched and you will be contacted for approval.

Challenge bout match ups will be conducted on the Official Boxing Qld Coaches Group (facebook) page, (to be added to this page (coaches only) please click the link below and complete the questionaire and wait for approval). Please see the link for the page below
