The level 1 and level 2 Coaching courses have just gone through a complete overhaul and are being rolled out. All new, expiring or expired coaches will need to complete the new level 1 course. The course content for level 1 has changed considerably with far more emphasis on technical knowledge through practice in the basic stages of athlete development. The course will still run over a two day period and coaches will be assessed for competency through practical and written assessments.

The Course cost is $295.00 for a coach from a Boxing Queensland affiliated club, please contact Boxing Queensland for prices if you are a personal trainer. Pre-requisites: You must have a Blue Card or must have applied for a Blue Card this can be done by downloading the forms found under the 'Forms' tab of this website (registering for your Blue Card through Boxing Queensland is free) You should also complete the Community Coaching General Principles Course by registering on line and completing the online course - go to: https://learning.ausport.gov.au/auth/login/?returnUrl=%2F

Once you have booked your spot on either course please make payment into the Boxing Queensland account. BSB: 124 037 Account: 10333652 - use your surname as reference and email details to your presenter and to secretary@boxingqueensland.com once paid.

Please take gloves and pads to the course with you - yo must be able to be involved in the practical parts and to demonstrate technical aspects of the course
