NOTICE OF AGM

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Boxing Queensland will be held on Friday 28th May 2021, details as follow:

MEETING: Zoom Meeting – Invitations to join the Zoom Meeting will be provided closer to the date.

TIME: 6:30pm

In accordance with the requirements of clause 10.4 (b) of the Constitution.

(i) Notices of any motions which such members might desire to move at that Annual General Meeting must be received by the Secretary of Boxing Queensland no later than Friday the 7th May 2021.

(ii) Nominations from eligible members for election to the Committee at the Annual General Meeting must be received by the Secretary of Boxing Queensland no later than 6:00pm Friday the 30th April 2021; and

(iii) any other items of business sought to be included on the Agenda for the Annual General Meeting must be received by the Secretary of Boxing Queensland no later than Friday the 7th May 2021.

• An eligible member is a financial member that has been financial for at least 6 months.
• As part of the club affiliation fee, nominated club head coaches receive financial membership on approval.
  • secondary and assistant coaches do not.

There are 4 positions up for election under the rotation of Boxing Queensland committee members provision with each position elected for a 2 year period.

Nominations are to be forwarded to the Secretary of Boxing Queensland Inc at secretary@boxingqueensland.com

Names of all nominees to the Committee of Boxing Queensland will be advised to all members on or before the 14th May 2021.
