The following invite was made by Boxing Australia to those eligible personal coaches of athletes on the team for the Asian Oceania Olympic Qualifying Event: Jamie Pittman (Josh English) (Kaye Scott) Kel Bryant (Kristy Harris) Frank Burns (Jayden Hansen) (Caitlin Parker) Ruben Sanchez (Fano Kori)

We have recently received the Team Delegations’ Handbook for the Asian/Oceania Olympic qualifying event which states that boxing Australia will be allowed to have ‘up to 7 coaches’ who must be AIBA certified (1 to 3-stars). Boxing Australia will be advertising shortly for an assistant coach for both the male and female teams who will be funded to attend. You are of course welcome to apply for either of these positions but Boxing Australia would like to also invite you, as you meet the criteria, if unsuccessful to self-fund attendance at this event as a member of the official Boxing Australia Team.

There is no compulsory requirement to attend any preparatory events prior to the tournament.

Costs

Accommodation: USD 70/person/night (Double occupancy) Direct Flight: AUD 1400  (variable depending on your location)

Please advise Kevin Smith asap if you are willing to accept this invitation, whether or not you intend to apply for one of the funded support coach positions.

Boxing Australia must enter all members of the team on to the AIBA database.
