Australian Championships Update - Seeding Procedure

Please be advised of the following seeding procedure to be used for the Men’s 57kg and Men’s 63kg divisions at the 2019 Elite Australian Championships:

In the interest of transparent and equitable treatment of boxers the Board directs the Technical Delegate of the 2019 Australian Elite Championships that if:

• the Winner of the 2018 Elite Men’s U64 weight category and the Winner of the U60 kg weight category both enter the 2019 Elite Men’s U63 weight category that he is to conduct a draw between these boxers to determine who will be seeded number 1 and who will be seeded number 2 for that weight category.
   
• the Winner of the 2018 Elite Men’s U60 weight category and the Winner of the U56 kg weight category both enter the 2019 Elite Men’s U57 weight category that he is to conduct a draw between these boxers to determine who will be seeded number 1 and who will be seeded number 2 for that weight category.
   
• the Runner-Up of the 2018 Elite Men’s U64 weight category and the Runner-Up of the U60 kg weight category both enter the 2019 Elite Men’s U63 weight category that he is to conduct a draw between these boxers to determine who will be seeded in front of the other for that weight category.
   
• the Runner-Up of the 2018 Elite Men’s U60 weight category and the Runner-Up of the U56 kg weight category both enter the 2019 Elite Men’s U57 weight category that he is to conduct a draw between these boxers to determine who will be seeded in front of the other for that weight category.
