Boxing Australia - Boxing Queensland Futures Squad

Congratulations to the following athletes who have been named in the 2019 Boxing Australia - Boxing Queensland Futures Squad. 
The below list of athletes have been selected on overall performance and have been deemed to be the best performing athletes in the Junior (15/16) & Youth (17/18) divisions within Boxing Queensland. 


The main selection criteria for the selection of this squad has based on performances at International Level, Australian Championships, State Championships, National Golden Gloves and overall performance's at club level.


With the depth of talent that we have in Queensland, naming this U 19’s squad was a challenge. Those that have missed out on being named in this initial squad have been put on a shadow list. Anyone that has been named in the below squad that is not performing well, not actively competing or does not attend the Futures Program training camps will be replaced quickly with a shadow squad member..

Athletes that accept this opportunity to participate and perform well in the Futures program will be the first considered for interstate competitions, AIS camps or any other opportunities determined to benefit the athlete development. The Futures program provides opportunity to work with the National Coaches and other Future high-performance athlete from other States / Territories it can also lead to BAL / AIS athlete categorisation.
