Boxing Qld Success

Boxing Qld recently took a team of 25 athletes down to Melbourne for the Boxing Australia Women's World tiles (Turkey) and the Birmingham Commonwealth Games selection event.

These events are very hotly contested by very talented and skilled athletes.

Boxing Qld has always been a major force when it comes to the major events like this and once again has let no one down.

Ange Harries - 60kg winner of the womens 60kg division will be making her way to Turkey in a few weeks to compete against the best in the world.

Alex Winwood 51kg &  Billy McAllister 80kg have gained selection in the Australian team to compete at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham

Congratulations to these athletes and all athletes that respresented Qld.

With COVID now under control (touch wood), BQ are now back on track and getting back into full swing. The opportunities will once again start to present themselves as we get back into normalilty.
