Elite Australian Championships

The Elite Australian Championships will be held in Melbourne 20-23 June 2019 and will provide selection to the 2019 World Championships.

2019 AIBA Elite Men's World Championships (7 - 21 September, 2019) - Yekaterinburg, Russia

2019 AIBA Elite Women's World Championships ( 3-13 October, 2019) - Ulan Ude, Russia

It is proposed that Boxing Queensland will hold a selection event on the 11th & 12th of May at a venue to be advised.

We will advise weight divisions as soon as we are advised, the anticipated changes to Olympic weight divisions are advised as 8 weights for men and 5 for women as follows:

Men's: 52kg, 57kg, 63kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg & 91kg+

Women's: 48-51kg, 54-57kg, 57-60kg, 64-69kg, 69-75kg
