Glencore Great Western Games Boxing

The Glencore Great Western Games nominations are now open.

Boxing Queensland the official governing  body for amatuer boxing in Qld has secured the rights to host the boxing event which will be held in Charters Towers over 2 great days.

The Western Games are Held between Charters Towers and Mt Isa between 22-30th June, with 20+ sports to participate in, with the boxing being held over the weekend of the 22 & 23rd.

To nominate for the boxing, simply head to the Western Games web site https://entergwg.com/ and follow the registration instructions.

you will need the following to complete your registration -

• Registered with Boxing qld or a member association of Boxing Australia (no other organisation/registration will be accepted)
• BQ ID (a must)
• correct experience details (this includes # of wins & losses, not just amount of bouts)
• DOB

To obtain a Boxing Qld ID & blue record/medical book you will need to register with Boxing Qld first, you can do so by going to http://www.boxingqld.org.au/registration/

You must be able to produce your BQ Book with a current medical at weigh in. No registrations will be completed or permitted on the day.
