Important Information for Australian Championships

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BOXERS AND COACHES TRAVELLING TO ADELAIDE

 

Please find below your travel and accommodation arrangements for the Australian Under 19 Championships and the Elite Men’s Selection Trials in Adelaide, South Australia. If are travelling from Gladstone and North of Gladstone further flight arrangements will be sent to you.

 

All boxers and coaches departing from the South East should meet at Brisbane Airport on Sunday the 2nd of April at 10:00am where your Boxing Queensland boxing gear and your tracksuit will be distributed.

 

Flights:

Sunday 2 April             Flight VA 1394 Depart Brisbane at 12.50pm

                                                            Arrive Adelaide at 3.10pm

 

Sunday 9 April             Flight VA 1397 Depart Adelaide at 1.35pm

                                                            Arrive Brisbane at 4.30pm

 

Accommodation:

In 2 April – Out 9 April

Adelaide Shores Caravan Park

Military Road

West Beach, South Australia

 

Boxing Venue:

Magic Millions Auditorium

1 Park Terrace

Morphettville, South Australia.

 

For Boxers:  Please ensure you bring the following

 

What to bring:

  • Blue Competition Record Book – check that the medical is current and all medical pages (pages 2-6 are completed)
  • AIBA Approved Red and Blue Head guards
  • Mouth Guard – no red or derivative of red
  • Box Protector
  • Training Gear
  • Spending money ( for incidentals)

 

Remember that you are representing Boxing Queensland when you travel as part of a team, any behavioural issues will seriously impact your inclusion on this team or any future team.
