New LEVEL ONE Coaches Course

The level 1 and level 2 Coaching courses have just gone through a complete overhaul and are being rolled out. All new, expiring or expired coaches will need to complete the new level 1 course. The course content for level 1 has changed considerably with far more emphasis on technical knowledge through practice in the basic stages of athlete development. The course will still run over a two day period and coaches will be assessed for competency through practical and written assessments.

Queensland now has a number of presenter/facilitators that have very recently completed a presenter course at the AIS in Canberra and are now ready to present the new content.

Our presenters are: Chris Carden, Chris Evers, Allan Nicolson and Sam O'Malley.

The first courses will be held in both Cairns and Mackay on the 21st and 22nd of May.

The Course cost is $295.00 for a coach from a Boxing Queensland affiliated club, please contact Boxing Queensland for prices if you are a personal trainer. Pre-requisites: You must have a Blue Card or must have applied for a Blue Card this can be done by downloading the forms found under the 'Forms' tab of this website. you should also complete the Community Coaching General Principles Course by registering on line and completing the online course - go to: https://learning.ausport.gov.au/auth/login/?returnUrl=%2F
