Succesful Return to Boxing

With all the negatives that 2020 has thrown at us it was a great relief to see the gloves swinging again,

Last Saturday was our first tournament back after the COVID shutdown and it was a resounding success. A big thankyou to all the clubs and coaches that nominated, you made the afternoon what it was.

Also a big thank you to all the officials that showed up, we had 7 new R&J there shadow judging to learn what it's about and to become qualified R&J. The officiating on the weekend was exceptional and the feeling was that of unity, it was great to see everyone working together to make it a success.

The BQ committee have worked tirelessly to make this happen under the current restictions that have been set out for us and community sport. A big well done to the committee, the sport is in very good hands.
