Tournament Dates released

Boxing Queensland wish to advise that you are now able to nominate tournament dates for 2018. Available dates for open tournaments have been listed on the calendar and you should check this before completing your form and requesting dates.

We have tried to carefully balance the need for competition for our boxers and the need for training and development weekends for boxers, coaches and officials alike. This does mean we have less dates available for you but hope you can understand the reasoning behind this decision. 

This will be the 1st round of nominations, if all dates are not filled we will release dates for a 2nd round of nominations. If possible pre-matches/Corporate or in house events should not be requested for a Saturday, the Friday preceding or Sunday following a tournament within 100km of your chosen location.

We will not be allocating multiple dates for individual clubs during round 1 so please do not nominate more than one date (remember to list alternate dates if your first choice date has already been allocated), any 2^nd and subsequent tournaments will be looked at and assessed on a per tournament basis during round 2 nominations.

First preference will be given to clubs that have attended a minimum of 10 tournaments (SEQ), 5 Tournaments (NQ) during 2017 and who have a minimum of 10 (SEQ), 5 (NQ) registered boxers.

Tournament requests must be made on the prescribed ‘tournament request’ form which can be found under the forms tab of the Boxing Queensland website.

Please note that your preferred date may not be available and if this is the case we will advise the alternatives to you, we also reserve the right to change dates due to the Boxing Australia calendar but would hope to have all of these dates by January.

Pre-Matched/corporate, second & all subsequent Tournaments - $1000.00
