U19 Championship Success

Boxing Qld have dominated the U19, 17, 15 & 13yrs Nariinal championshipd in Melbourne.

The titles also doubled as the pathway selection event for the Youth World Titles being held in Spain later this year.

BQ sent a team of 42 boxers and walked away with 32 medals, 18 Gold & 14 Silver.

withoutt a doubt this will go down as one of the most succesful teams Qld have produced.

We have 6 athletes Jaye Dixon, Craig Evers, Aaron Grealey, Mathew Lyons, Paige Robinson & Sahara Dempsey who now have the opportunity to represent Australia at the Youth World Titles in Spain later this year. While they did win a National title it doesn't mean automatic selection, so fingers crossed that the selection panel see fit to select all 5 of them.

Boxing Qld has shown that we are stronger than ever and are definitely leading the way in Australia with Junior/youth development.

A massive shout out to Frankie Pianto and the coaching team who attended and cornered this very large successful team, it's a credit to you all.
